There's also a high chance they're not the the raw dlc format, and what we have is post installation data, I will explain if needed

I've received word that the scene e-shop releases are indeed post-installation data. Raw DLC would have the ticket + account & 3ds details.

that plus raw dlc have integrated compression routines, to optimize bandwidth, so they won't compress anymore with zip and the likes
