I has downloaded Boktai: The Sun Is In Your Hand! The Dumper is Eurasia! The best thing about this rom is sunsensor patched rom so i dont need to patch it to work! After a little try i think to remove the intro of the game! Ive do it with a ips patch. After the intro remove patch the game says "The sunsensor is broken" so i cant play it! Before the Intro remove patch the game works and i can play it! Can anybody help me with this? :? !

The sun sensor patch is part of the intro, but in the GBA Patches section there is a Sun Sensor only patch.

Hello. First of all, sorry for my english
My question:
- I tried the eurasia dump, the no-intro dump with and without the patch, and the game always says "Solar sensor is broken". I use the VBA 1.7 with savegame "auto". What I am doing bad?

You must deactivate the real time clock for the game to work

Its the same. I can play in the eurasia one but no in the no-intro one. Can u revise this?
- Boktai - The Sun is in Your Hand (U) - 400B3F14 to E715AC45.ips
- Here you find 2 ips that convert "Boktai - The Sun is in your Hand (U)" from clean (E715AC45) to patched (52A78351) and vice versa.
Its the same file? The patch list are bad?

I think my problem is this, the patch is invalid (duplicated) and the good patch not are in the list (overwrited?)

yup, the second link is duplicated and the second patch was overwritten by the first in list.

Reviving an old topic here. Once again, can someone point me to a patch that would allow me to use the (L+R) hack for the sun sensor, on the U.S. version (originally Eurasia), without an intro? Thanks!

Here's where you can get the patch
http://home.comcast.net/~sritrai/index.html

If you have the Eurasia version w/ intro apply "Boktai: The Sun is in Your Hand (U) - 400B3F14 to E715AC45"

then apply

"Boktai: The Sun is in Your Hand (U) - E715AC45 to 52A78351 - Sun Meter and Time Adjustment Patch"

If you already have a clean file w/o intro just apply the E715AC45 to 52A7835 patch. Make sure you DISABLE the Real Time Clock (RTC) option in the emulator when playing the game. You can change the time by going into the Select Menu and press UP+L+R. Change the level of the Sun Meter by L+right or left during the game in either increase or decrease the Sun Meter.
