The P/Clone file states that the american version of this game, Professor Layton and the Last Specter. is a clone of the european one. While the games itself might be, the american version contains the RGP called london life as well, which (controversely) was omitted in the european version. The RPG also exists in the Japanese version of the game, but it has to be unlocked there, where it is freely available from the start in the american version. Is this difference big enough to see them as separate games, or not?

I think they should still be labelled as clones since they both contain
the same main game (Professor Layton and the Last Specter).

Quoting 'Kazumi213' - found in this discussion below:

'Our P/C lists don't judge whether the contents of grouped games are exact
copies for them to be considered clones. It's simpler and more objective than
that. We group regional implementations of the same game, no matter the
consequences of such implementations on game contents.'

Each game shares the same 'BLF' serial, so I consider them to be clones.
Think of 'London Life' as a Bonus for the USA and Japan region of the games.

BLFP = Europe
BLFJ = Japan
BLFE = USA
BLFF = France
BLFD = Germany
BLFH = Netherlands
BLFI = Italy
BLFS = Spain
