This pertains to 1025, 1026, 1027, 1028 as well as

http://datomatic.no-intro.org/index.php?page=show_record&s=24&n=0626 N64 version

The series name is spelled differently between systems. Basically, I'd vote for "Robotto Ponkottsu" - a direct transliteration.

I'd only consider the current name if English material for the GBC Robopon Sun version explicitly states "Robot Poncots" somewhere in the game or accompanying material.

The N64 version will have to be renamed anyway.

I just changed this (after almost a year). I didn't know whether to go with Ponkottsu or Poncots. I went with Poncots for now, but this stuff is made to be reversed when we decide it necessary.

I thought I recalled the title screens reading "Poncots" in English, but I can't find that now. Memory cannot be trusted! It lies all the time!

My concern is over the "7tsu" in the N64 game's title. The Kana looks like it says "Setsu" rather than "7tsu". But then the back of the box uses "7tsu". I think Setsu should be used for purposes of not looking ridiculous and being on the front of the box, but I suppose opinions may vary.

Thank you. :)

Pardon me for my clumsiness: Just realized that what I was looking at isn't Kana, but a Kanji for the number seven. "Nana", specifically. I suppose it'll need to be "Nana Tsu" instead of what it is now.

And I think we do need to go with Ponkottsu unless someone can find any evidence at all of Poncots being used officially.
