This is the final version of the game, modified and released by Second Dimension. It is not known whether we will ever see a prototype of the game, on the basis of which the modifications were made.

Ah. Gotcha. That's disappointing. I'll change it then. Thanks.

But the question is: Is it an unlicensed release or a hack? If the latter, we should leave it as Proto but make it a bad dump. If the former, it should just receive the "Unl" tag.

I made a change to have a change for now, but the change I made shouldn't be considered final. I'd like to categorize it in a way (almost) everyone can agree with. Here are the comments I made in the changelog:

"If this is modified, it should either count as a bad dump of a proto (because hacked) or an unlicensed final release. Not sure which one it should be."

"Maybe remove the Proto tag for now as well. But it's difficult. This isn't the same situation as Nightmare Busters. The Socks the Cat release is almost a pirated game altogether considering the way it was obtained and released by someone without the permission of any of the people involved in making it."

By "people involved in making it" I meant the original design team and original intended publishers/producers. If I was unclear in that.

Maybe we just need to add some sticky note about ROM's origin?

If one day we get an original unmodified prototype ROM of this game, then we'll do the manipulations in the database. In the meantime, we can leave it as it is. It's just my private opinion.
