	Comment 1:	Mortal Kombat is the classic fighting game that spawned the requirement of a legally-enforced BBFC (British Board of Film Classification) age certification of video gaming in the UK during the early 1990’s, and is a rarity among the games that were built on violence in that it is genuinely good fun. Europe developed the ELSPA system which also became used in the UK (Under EU Regulations). ELSPA was pretty useless, giving a 3+ rating to games such as Sega Touring Car Championship on the Sega Saturn – a game where one of the first songs opens up with a guy shouting the F-word! ELSPA was later replaced by a more informed certification body. The Amiga conversion of the Mortal Kombat series was made by Probe Software who were responsible for many Amiga ports such as the Turtles games, Alien 3, Terminator 2 and even OutRun. It was also published by Acclaim (Who later reached more fame with Turok on the N64) and Virgin Interactive Entertainment (Who also had their hand in the Cannon Fodder games and Cool Spot.
	Comment 2:	The music was by legendary Amiga composer Allister Brimble, whose credits include Alien Breed 92, Assassin, Body Blows, The Lost Vikings, Project-X, Superfrog and the Zeewolf games. While music will always be based on preference and opinion, I was always more impressed with the Amiga soundtrack to Mortal Kombat than any other iteration. It had a traditional feel to it that mirrored the mythology-driven visuals – definitely a direction I always wanted Mortal Kombat to take instead of the absurd fantasy that followed. It was just a shame only one combat theme was made, but this as likely a disk space issue. In this release I have included a few extras that you may enjoy. We generally don’t do tracks less than 5 seconds in length, but for Kombat’s sake I included a couple as well as two classic Scorpion voice clips. Enjoy! Tracklist: 1. Introduction 2. Title Screen 3.
