I've just got an italian Pokemon Snap cartridge in good conditions, more or less. I have cleaned its pins and I have dumped it with UltraSave, but there's a problem: the md5 hash of my dump doesn't correspond to that of the database. To steer clear of doubt, I have dumped Pokemon Snap other two times and it always returns the same hash.
My copy:
md5: 8e1968191dd27655c03be812cf041a95
sha1: a4dae7f86e463fe5351b3e74a1d044a95f3cbf41
Database:
md5: D0453459095F69BE36D675D8F743069B
sha1: F69BFBF1F5590B2F25A79400ABCDAFB884F5E3A0

I have forgot by adding that I have compared the two dumps (first one is no-intro, the last one is mine) with cmp on linux:
$ cmp -l 'dump1.z64' 'dump2.z64' | gawk '{printf "%08X %02X %02X\n", $1, strtonum(0$2), strtonum(0$3)}'

Can we rectify that page (and the dump) already? It seems that there's now another dump that backs my claim: https://datomatic.no-intro.org/index.php?page=show_record&s=24&n=1003
Which shows the same md5 hash as mine.

Hi!
Can you provide dump info at the forum thread?
Please make a photos of cart and PCB too.
It seems we have faulty dump info for years...
VC dump as I think is equal to regular cart version.

^ this link linked to a page for the Italy Wii Virtual Console release (now removed as VC stuff doesn't really fit in the dat)
the bigendian SHA-1/MD5 matched the ones Snowstorm64 posted.
I've marked this ROM as bad due to this discussion.

As soon as they activate my account on the board I'll post the necessary informations on this cartridge :)
