The English localized ROM of "Monster World IV" was released for Virtual Console both in North America and Europe.
I tested the ROM with some Mega Drive emulator, here are the results:
- The ROM works fine with all region settings (NTSC-J, NTSC-U, PAL). Thus we can suppose that the very same ROM was released for the American and European Virtual Console.
- The Japanese language is still present and is displayed if the ROM is used with a Japanese system. The ROM might have been released worldwide if ever the Japanese Virtual Console was updated.

I extracted the ROM from each WAD file of the game. The American and the European ROMs are the same.
