I have a ROM of Urusei Yatsura for Famicom for which clrmamepro doesn't complain about the checksum using the most up to date No-Intro .dat. Trying to run this ROM produces garbage on both FCE Ultra and Mednafen. I have no idea if this is a bad emulator, a bad dat, or a bad ROM. Googling it finds various references to it being mapper 87, mapper 101, mapper 3, and a mapper 3 hack, along with another reference to the existing dump being bad. (Editing this ROM's mapper to 3 or 101 doesn't help.) I found an old note I made in an anime games FAQ to flip the mirroring, which worked ten years ago with a hacked ROM in an old emulator but doesn't work now either. Can someone dispel my confusion please?
