"Puzzle (USA) (Beta 1) (Unl)" is not a "US Beta", it's an FFE hack of the Taiwanese Idea-Tek release. You can tell that it is an FFE hack because the initial two writes are to $42FF, which are registers of the Bung Game Doctor and Front FarEast Super Magicards (see https://wiki.nesdev.com/w/index.php/INES_Mapper_006).
