A 1G1R set with the newest revisions of many roms isn't possible with the parent clone relationships in the dat.
In most cases newer revisions are listed as clones of the older version, while some are correct.
eg; results in the newer revision being discarded in favor of the older one.
Whereas; is correct and the newer revision is kept.

Seems the examples of dat entries I gave got stripped out in my post
See "Adventure Time - Hey Ice King! Why'd You Steal Our Garbage!! (USA)" vs "Adventure Time - Hey Ice King! Why'd You Steal Our Garbage!! (USA) (REV 1)"
as opposed to
"WarioWare Gold (USA) (Rev 1)" vs "WarioWare Gold (USA)"

There are quite a few throughout the dat, simply making sure that original version is considered a clone of the next newer version of any given rom solves the problem
