SHOUTBOX

@Hiccup Understood. I guess the issue is it's hard to tell if an entry is incorrectly labeled unless someone filters the dat. I enable all entries, but if I enable only Aftermarket for instance, I see entries that shouldn't be there.

Hiccup » 2023-03-17

@Roo ah you mean have them as actual fields? yeah possibly, although its hard to know the best way to extend the dat format like that, since these fields are kind of DoM-specific in a way.

Roo » 2023-03-16

@Hiccup NP. In datomatic, when filtering homebrew or aftermarket. I notice homebrew in the aftermarket dat. Is there a way to include those labels in the dat like verified status so i can submit tickets for corrections?I'd like to help anyway I can

Hiccup » 2023-03-16

@Roo sorry, accidentally deleted your last message

Hiccup » 2023-03-15

@Madeline I think someone has fixed this now. @Roo wdym see how things are labelled? re. the policy on aftermarket stuff, see the "Aftermarket Guide" page on the wiki.

Roo » 2023-03-13

@Hiccup is there an easy way to view how entries are being labeled? I want to submit tickets on homebrew entries being labeled aftermarket. Also, can you go into No-Intros policy on private entries for retro systems? Thanks

Hiccup » 2023-03-12

@Roo I don't think thats generally being done. I'm not sure virus checkers generally have support for console games. But if there are any with viruses, I think they could probably have a tag in the name or something, at the very least.

Roo » 2023-03-08

@Hiccup I just found out that a Dreamcast game inadvertently shipped with malware back in the day. It got me thinking, are homebrew entries being verified that they are not malicious? I know it's crazy, but we live in a different now.

Can somebody check nsw 2057. I think z429 belongs to it. The scene dump looks like trimmed and should be a "bad" dump without padding.

@Roo done
